A 3-minute video with a few words from me about the book...

For 16 years, Cline and Kathryn Hamrick and their 4 sons operated a dairy farm on the outskirts of Boiling Spings, North Carolina.  Although the family got out of milk production in 1986, the Hamricks, especially the Farmer, are still in the humor production business.  So Kathryn kept writing, week after week after week.

When she counted up and realized she had written some 1250 humor columns for local newspapers, the author proclaimed, "Enough's enough," and has now compiled nearly a hundred of her Farmer's Wife classics in a 200-page book.

A proofreader, new to Kathryn's writing, said, "I love your writing and the thoughts and feelings behind it!  The way you find the humor/lesson/wisdom in the everyday events of family life is remarkable.  Some of your stories leave me roaring with laughter and others, with a warm glow."

A disclaimer -- from the author:

"Don't be taken in by the title of this book.  This book is not about the role of women in agriculture.  I just happened to marry a farmer..."
